CHEVROLET - THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE

Digital campaign

Commissioned by Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the ‘Ride of Your Life’ used Google Maps Street View, Google Places and Facebook Connect to give customers a personalized ride through their own lives in one of six classic Chevys. Customers chose between a ‘53 Corvette, ‘57 Belair, and ‘69 Stingray and more while one of six iconic tracks played on the car’s stereo.

Pulling the experience off required a mix of video, stills and Iybrid Moving Pictures. For video, we first shot exterior and interior details of the six classic Chevys, and shots of the cars out on the road. We also captured bicoastal B-Roll footage of roads, signs, landscapes and general road trip details, which were used to link footage of the cars and Google Street View together.
